A practical order for editing a PDF

For a document assembled from several sources, convert any JPG or PNG images first. Merge the PDFs, organize the pages, and check their orientation. Add page numbers once the reading order is final, then add a watermark if you need a document-status label. Download and review each result before using it in the next tool.

Before you begin

No account is required. PDF document bytes are processed on your device. The tools require JavaScript, while these tutorials can be read without it. Tasks are limited to 50 MB total input, 60 files, and 300 PDF pages; capacity also depends on browser memory. Encrypted PDFs are rejected. Keep your originals, particularly signed documents, because editing can change signatures and other document features.

A document-processing statement is different from a site-tracking statement: the home page also loads Google Analytics and DeanonX scripts. The PDF tools do not upload your documents for processing. Clear the workspace when finished, and save downloads before closing the tab.
